Daffodil Day

Hi Room 3

Wasn’t daffodil day good fun at school?  We were really pleased with how much money we collected for the Cancer Society too.  On Monday we will choose one of your wonderful daffodil stories to publish on the blog! I have put Sophie’s daffodil picture that she took when we were on on our daffodil hunt.

bakery visit

On Tuesday we went to Woolworths Bakery.  We drove in a car. I went with Bella’s Mum.  I saw Cameron and Lowell. They led us across the road to the freezers.  Me and Ben R and Max went into the icy freezer and Me and Ben R were not cold.  Cameron taught us to make bread and I had a bun and I saw a machine that was big to put things in.  I was excited. At Bernard’s party it was fun because we  played  musical statues. we   had party food.  We had lollies, chips and  grapes. We   showed our teddies around our school.  It was a fun day!

Hi Room 3,

It has been so good to see you all back again this term; and hopefully now, you have got over the horrible sickness that many of you experienced.

Which famous clock can you see if the background?

I hope that you all enjoyed your holidays?  I had a lovely time overseas and I was able to visit so many people and places.  I have put some photos on here for you to see.  Can you guess where I visited? Perhaps you could leave a comment with your guesses?

Do you know the name of the famous tower in this picture?

Can you guess where this famous view is?

Hi Room 3

I hope that you have a lovely week with Mrs Hambleton.  I know that she has some lovely things planned for you to do.  I have put a great link on here to help you practise your story writing over the holidays – I hope you enjoy using it. See you all soon

From Miss Rhodes

P.S this week’s homework is on here too – so if you didn’t take your paper copy, don’t forget to check it out.

Hi Room 3,

This week, we have been looking closely at our blog and trying to think of what we can use it for.  I wondered this week if you could add a comment about something ‘kind’ that someone has done for you?  This is your opportunity to say ‘thank you’!

If you could select the page that says ‘ thank you’ from the top tabs, and then you can add your comment.  It is really easy, you will just need an email address.

Have a lovely weekend.

This week we have been looking at how to draw an elephant.  We are going to use this knowledge to help us write our own instructions next week. Why don’t you have a look at the website that I have put a link to on the blog roll and see if you can draw some other animals?

Here is Orly’s elephant – I really like how he has looked carefully at all the details and used some interesting tones to shade his elephant. Well done Orly.

Hello room 3

Hi Room 3

I hope that you have all had a good weekend? Can you believe that we are already half way through term 2?  Just a few reminders…if you haven’t returned your portfolio yet, could you please make sure that you do so by the end of this week….

Secondly – don’t forget to ‘step it up’ with your steps this week!! Whanau, parents and carers we are having a great time trying to walk 16000km with the All-whites for the world cup.  Check out the website in the links catergory…
